Teacher Appreciation Week
I am feeling so lucky to be as spoiled as I was this week. Our new administrative team went above and beyond to show us support. Our PTA and community partnerships showed us some love as well. I appreciate everyone who was involved in making this week so successful. KUDOS TO YOU!
Our superintendent shared his thoughts:
“Dear CMS teachers,
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and tomorrow has been designated National Teacher Day. The designations are intended to remind us to thank teachers for all they do. It’s a well-deserved day of recognition for those of you on the front line of education – our classrooms. Your work each day makes a huge difference to your students. I have visited every school in CMS, many of them more than once, and every time I go into a school, I see the proof of how much teaching talent CMS has. From pre-kindergarten through high school, it is your work that makes our schools and our district successful. You are changing lives and building our future. All of us in CMS appreciate you and your work every day, not just on this occasion formally designated to honor you. Thank you for all that you do in and outside the classroom for your students and please know how much you are valued.
Heath”
Our principal shared her thoughts:
“Dear Staff,
I would like to thank each of you for all you do for our students each day. I thank you for your passion, your patience, your dedication, your constant reflection, your continued growth and your love of children. You are the ones who touch each child every day, who make them desire to come to school each day and to persevere through difficult tasks. Although this week is teacher appreciation week, I want you to know each day I appreciate each one of you. Thank you for all you do!”
Below are some highlights from the week:
