13: “If” versus “When” + How = Now
When we feel at our worst we begin our thoughts with the word “if.” But when we start empowering ourselves to make things happen for the better, our “if’s” turn to “when’s.” But your work can’t stop there. In order to reach a better place mentally and physically in your moment of distress or transition, start thinking “how” you can make these changes happen NOW. Listen to my story and hear how I followed the simple formula of “if” vs “when” + how = now!
Quotables
- I was trapping myself by only thinking in the forms of dreams instead of developing actionable steps to turn these dreams into a reality.
- Sometimes when you are at the end of your rope, you need to tie a knot instead of letting go.
- I was happier because I did something about my pain. Being proactive and changing your doomsday to dream day is pretty invigorating!
- Your distress or transition is not a forever fog over your life. It is temporary.
