In order to reach a better place mentally and physically in your moment of distress or transition, start thinking “how” you can make these changes happen NOW. Listen to my story and hear how I followed the simple formula of “if” vs “when” + how = now!

Quotables

I was trapping myself by only thinking in the forms of dreams instead of developing actionable steps to turn these dreams into a reality.

Sometimes when you are at the end of your rope, you need to tie a knot instead of letting go.

I was happier because I did something about my pain. Being proactive and changing your doomsday to dream day is pretty invigorating!

Your distress or transition is not a forever fog over your life. It is temporary.

My good intentions were boxing in my students to a mold they weren’t designed to be in.

My strength was also my weakness.

I have empowered my students to take more ownership in my class by tolerating a variety of personality traits knowing these talents are beneficial to my students and their growth.

Quotables

Our kids grow like weeds when we take the time to give them feedback

I want to empower you teacher leaders to see the opportunity to step up and close the loop on feedback so not only teachers in your building get stronger, but students start exceling and your school overall achieves greatness.

Teachers are capable. They have fantastic ideas and are full of passion.

We want teachers to stop reaching out to unreliable sources to gain ideas

Quotables

Everything you do as an educator is for the students

I spent so much time prepping for a lesson in terms of what I was going to say instead of figuring out what I wanted students to say.

It was awesome to see them grow up in a matter of seconds just because I gave them the opportunity to.

Its about being intentional about how you structure your class to ensure students are learning and growing as people

Quotables

Planning- In order to do something great in the moment, you need to plan for it behind the scenes.

Preparing- Although this might sound the same as planning, its not. Once you plan for what you want, you must gather all that is required to do it well- this might be physical materials or just spending time practicing.

Producing- Now its time to execute what you have planned and prepared. Go produce.
