I’m so happy you liked this idea. You’re right, this would be GREAT for you and your students in Hawaii! I think your idea will work out great and be an eye opening experience for your students. Now that I live on a tiny island, I think the idea of using Skype would be really useful! Growing up in Hawaii, my students have never seen snow, raccoons, or other things I used to take for granted back in Oregon. The possibilities for using Skype in the classroom are endless. Thanks for the great idea!
